Project: PH Single Cover

Jay Wreh an up and coming Jazz musician approached me with the task of designing the cover for his debut single, “PH”. Inspired by psychedelic imagery and our shared love of simple yet expressive design, I was commissioned to make this cover for Jay’s synth-heavy, key-driven music.

The Purpose

Our objective was to create a cover that reflected the chill, intricate vibe of the track while incorporating elements of psychedelic imagery.

The Process

The journey of creating Jay Wreh’s debut single cover was marked by a series of concept sketches and iterative revisions, each contributing to the evolution of the final design.

Revisions

This design went through 4 rounds of revision. The attention to detail is what lead to the high-quailty of the final product.

After the release the client confided in me his worries about people listening to the song because of the length. To solve this problem I suggested the inititative to make social media content to promote the single.
